a league-high 8.04 yards per pass attempt, he became the first
AFC quarterback since Jim Harbaugh in 1995 to finish the season
averaging more than eight yards per attempt.
With rushing
totals of 38 carries for 138 yards and four touchdowns, he
was one of only two NFL quarterbacks to produce at least one
touchdown in every game he played this season. Following the
season, McNair was named second-team All-Pro.
