2004 Male Amateur Athlete of the Year

Brandt Snedeker

Winning three consecutive tournaments and his first collegiate tournament championship, Brandt Snedeker played the best season of golf in Vanderbilt University history.

He is the first Commodore to be named a First-Team All American. At one point he was ranked No. 1 in the nation. His many other honors included Southeast All-Region, SEC Male Golfer of the Year, All-SEC and first place at the Tennessee Tournament of Champions.

 

As an Amateur, Snedeker won the 2003 U.S. Public Links Championship, qualified for the 2003 U.S. Amateur Championship, participated in both the 2003 Porter Cup and Palmer Cup and was named "Amateur of the Year" by the Tennessee Golf Association.

Snedeker is currently preparing to play in the 2004 Masters in Augusta.
