MTSU LADY RAIDERS WIN SUN BELT TITLE

Middle Tennessee’s Kortni Jones was named the Sun Belt Tournament MVP and to the All-Tournament team. Ebony Rowe was named the to the All-Tournament team as well. Jones helped MTSU rally to beat Arkansas-Little Rock 53-48 in the Sun Belt Conference championship game to earn a program-record fifth straight NCAA tournament berth. Rowe had 20 points and 13 rebounds, and Jones added 15 points. MTSU will play in the NCAA tournament for the ninth time in 10 years. The Lady Raiders will learn their opponent and destination in the Big Dance during the NCAA women’s tournament selection show at 6 p.m. Monday.
