Music City celebrates sports during Music City Bowl weekend

MusicCityBowl200x254The 16th annual bowl game in Nashville pits Georgia Tech against Ole Miss in a holiday celebration of football at LP Field on Monday, December 30 at 2:15pm. Televised nationally to millions of viewers on ESPN, the Bowl is Nashville’s Holiday Tradition.

Sunday, December 29 @ 9-11am
Wildhorse Saloon
Fans have a chance to interact with student-athletes and coaches including an opportunity to have a Q&A session with both head coaches from the participating schools. For event tickets and information, call the Bowl office at 615-743-3130.

Tennessee Titans vs. Houston Texans

AFC Divisional rivals square off at LP Field. For ticket contact the Tennessee Titans box office at 615-5665-4000.

MusicFest & Battle of the Bands
Sunday, December 29 @ 5-7pm
2nd Avenue & Broadway in downtown Music City
Thousands of fans will converge on world-famous 2nd Avenue for the outdoor party. A FREE concert from38 SPECIAL will take place prior to the Battle of the Bands. Admission to the Battle of the Bands is free and open to the public. Show your Bowl patch (available at musiccitybowl.com) and receive Fan discounts at participating locations in downtown Nashville. The Jack Daniel’s Experience will be available for fans from 4-8pm.

Family Zone Area
Monday, December 30 @ 11:30am-Kickoff
South End Zone Area Lot R at LP Field
Open to the general public, fans from the SEC and ACC will have an opportunity to play within steps from LP Field in the South End Zone Area Lot R (admission is Free). Interactive games will be provided for the entire family. It’s a great start for gameday and a great way to be a part of all of the pageantry of the Bowl. Festivities begin at 11:30am. Open to the general public.
