Biography

Phoebe was the recipient of the SEC’s 2010 H. Boyd McWhorter Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award and an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. She has also been named a two-time first-team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American. A graduate of Red Bank High School in Signal Mountain, TN, Phoebe was a standout in track and cross country during her high school career. She accepted a track scholarship to the University of Tennessee and went on to become a three-time NCAA distance medley relay champion, a two-time NCAA 800m champion, two-time SEC 800m champion and a three-time SEC distance medley relay champion. A nine-time All-American, Phoebe also holds numerous world records and SEC titles. Phoebe’s coach is J.J. Clark.
