The Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame Collegiate Partnership was created to partner with our esteemed institutions to become actively involved in our states rich sports heritage and support those entities by promoting the activities within their athletic programs.

Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame Jeff Byrd Memorial Scholarship

The Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame Jeff Byrd Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a college junior or senior who is a resident of the state of Tennessee and displays a high level of character, leadership, and integrity in sports, classroom, and community involvement.   The scholarship will be awarded to a student that wishes to follow in Jeff Byrd’s footsteps with an interest in sports journalism, sports management or a related sports field.
