Women’s Tournament
All three women’s squads played in their conference tournament championship games. Both Chattanooga (29-3) and Tennessee State (18-12) won in overtime to secure a spot in the big dance. The University of Tennessee and Chattanooga stayed ranked in the top 25 throughout the season and have the potential of playing each other in Knoxville in the second round.
