After losing nine of their last 11 games, the Commodores (18-12) on Monday learned that they will make their 15th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance.
Earning a No. 8 seed in the Notre Dame Region, Vanderbilt will play No. 9 seed Arizona State (22-9) at 10 a.m. Saturday in Toledo, Ohio.
The winner will play the winner of No. 16 Robert Morris and No. 1 seed Notre Dame on Monday.
