Biography

A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Peyton Manning began his collegiate career at the University of Tennessee in the first game of his freshman season. After QB Jerry Colquitt went down with an ACL injury at UCLA, Manning saw reps in his first game, and was the permanent starting QB halfway into the season. 

Manning finished his four-year career at the University of Tennessee with 11,201 passing yards, with 89 touchdown passes. Manning finished as first-runner up to the 1997 Heisman Trophy, and was the #1 overall selection by the Indianapolis Colts in the 1998 NFL Draft. 

Manning played 18 seasons in the NFL with the Colts and the Denver Broncos, finishing with 2 Super Bowl Championships, and 5 NFL MVP awards. 

Manning was selected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on his first ballot in 2021.
