Biography

Kathleen is a Chemical Engineer who has worked as a research scientist for 20 years, while at the same time training to be a competitive age group athlete at the national and world level. She has competed in over 100 multi-sport events and 80 single sports events, including swimming, cycling and running. Her competitive record includes, among many, a 13-time USA Triathlon All-American, a four-time medalist at International Triathlon Union Aquathlon World Championships (run-swim-run), and a three-time medalist at Ironman 70.3 World Championships. Having competed in over 200 multi-sport events, she has also coached many top-ranked athletes. Kathleen serves as USA Triathlon’s Southeast Regional Athlete Development Coordinator and is founder and owner of TriSuccess Multisport Coaching.
