In May of 2007, Lofton was selected by Rivals.com as the No. 2 three-point shooter of all-time. His career 3-point percentage of 43.8 percent (313-714) is the best all-time at Tennessee and ranks seventh in SEC history. Lofton, a junior last season, was a consensus second team All-American and was chosen as the SEC Player of the Year. He was first team All-SEC and was on the national ballot for the Wooden and Naismith awards. Lofton ranked 15th in the nation in scoring (20.8), 10th in 3-pointers per game (3.4) and 36th in 3-point percentage (41.9). He is ranked second all-time at Tennessee and third in SEC history with 313 3-pointers made and his 1,572 career points rank 13th in school history. He has won SEC Player of the Week honors six times in his career, which is tied for the most in SEC history.
