Trey Teague was born and raised in Jackson, Tennessee. He graduated from The University School of Jackson in 1993 where he played basketball, competed in track, and was a Superprep and Bluechip All American football player. He attended The University of Tennessee on a football scholarship and earned a degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science.
While at Tennessee, Trey served as team captain and was starting center for the 1997 SEC championship team. At Tennessee, Trey was awarded All SEC and All American honors. Trey helped Tennessee lead the nation averaging 482 yards per game in 1997 and compiled a 40-9 career record.
In 1998, he was drafted by the Denver Broncos where he played four seasons and was part of the 1998 Super Bowl Championship team. From 2001-2005 Trey played center for the Buffalo Bills and served as team captain. His nine year career ended in 2006 with the New York Jets.
Trey resides in Jackson, Tennessee with his wife Ashley and their two children Lilly and Everett. He is co-owner of The Forked Vine Wine and Spirits and Illinois Backwoods Outfitters Inc. Trey serves on the board of the Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission, the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame, as well as the Mossy Oak Pro Staff.
