Rowe, a Lexington, Ky., native, now holds nine MTSU records ranging from the all-time rebounding mark — offensively and defensively — to most double-doubles, most double-figure scoring games, minutes played and free throws attempted.
After 117 games and with 10 more remaining in her regular-season career, Rowe has scored 2,158 points. Webb, a former Smyrna High standout, finished her career (116 games) with 2,148 points.
MTSU coach Rick Insell immediately took a timeout after the second free throw, giving MTSU fans and Rowe’s teammates an opportunity to congratulate her.
By the time her career ends in March, she’ll graduate with a degree in physics and as the most decorated Lady Raiders player of all-time. No other MTSU players have owned as many records or have received as many awards as Ebony Rowe.
