Memphian Claude Humphrey is already a big winner this weekend, selected to this year’s NFL Hall of Fame.
Humphrey one of 2 players elected as senior candidates to this year’s Class.
Humphrey got his start here in Memphis at the old Lester High School and the collegiately at Tennessee State.
He was the third player selected in the draft and named the NFL’s Defensive Rookie of the Year as a Defensive End with the Atlanta Falcons in 1968.
He’s also a 6 time Pro Bowler, and played in the Super Bowl with the Eagles in 1980.
