MURFREESBORO – Middle Tennessee and Duke have agreed to a home-and-home football series for the 2019 and 2020 seasons as announced by Director of Athletics Chris Massaro. It will mark the first-ever meetings in football between the two schools.
The first game will see the Blue Devils come to Floyd Stadium in Murfreesboro on September 7, 2019. Duke will become the fourth ACC team to play in Murfreesboro, joining Maryland, Virginia, and Georgia Tech.
The Blue Raiders will face the Blue Devils in Durham, NC on September 5, 2020.
Middle Tennessee now has home games coming up against BYU (2014), Vanderbilt (2015 and 2017) and Duke in 2019.
“This should be an exciting series for our fans as we continue to bring quality non-conference opponents to Murfreesboro,” said Massaro. “Duke continues to grow its program under David Cutcliffe and we look forward to hosting another power conference member.”
