The International Sports Heritage Association, as part of their annual conference, announced the winners of the 2023 ISHY Awards recently, with the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame receiving two awards for their work in 2022. The Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2022 Television Special, presented by the Tennessee Lottery, and the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame’s Class of 2022 Printed Program were both named as award winners.
The Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame Television Special has now been recognized for three straight years, dating back to the original special in 2020. Television partners in Nashville, Memphis, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Johnson City, and Jackson have carried the program since its inception.

2023 ISHY Award Winners
The International Sports Heritage Association has over 130 institutions located in North
America, South America, Europe, and Asia that can call themselves members. In
addition, various corporations and individuals participate in and contribute to the growth
of the International Sports Heritage Association (or ISHA for shorthand) as Associate
Members. These dedicated individuals and member institutions make up the backbone
of a strong organization with a spirited competition that naturally occurs in and around
athletics.
The ISHY Awards program was established to provide recognition for excellence in
publications and exhibitions by all member sports museums, halls of fame, or sports
heritage organizations, based upon a competition evaluated by a panel of ISHA Officers
and organizational members. We split each category into three depending on their
organizational budget for Small Organizations, Mid-Size Organizations, and Large
