NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 12, 2024) – The “Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2024 Special Presented by the Tennessee Lottery” will debut as a one-hour televised event Saturday, July 13 in markets across Tennessee (check local listings for market-specific information). TSHF Executive Director Brad Willis and Mike Keith, 2021 inductee and voice of the Tennessee Titans, will host the event celebrating sports in the Volunteer State.
The Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame 2024 class adds a star-studded list of sports icons with the inductions of Paul Annacone, the late Charlie Bayless, Chris Burke, Thay Butchee, Scott Hamilton, the late Babe Howard, Chris Johnson, Jean Patton Latimer, Larry Liles, Dave Loos, Pekka Rinne, and Fred Warren.
The Class of 2024 honorees include Bill Dance topping the list as 2024 Tennessean of the Year. Other top honors include Thomas Wilson, Jack Elder, the Nashville Predators, Josef Newgarden, Dalton Knecht (Tennessee Basketball), Gordon Sargent (Vanderbilt Golf, Morgan Price (Fisk Gymnastics), University of Tennessee Softball, Freed-Hardeman Basketball, and White Station High School Basketball 2000-2004. The honors will be formally presented as part of the Hall’s 2024 Banquet, presented by the Tennessee Titans on July 20 at the Omni Nashville Downtown.
