June 30, 2025 – NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The “Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2025 Special Presented by the Tennessee Lottery” will debut as a one-hour televised special event Saturday, July 12 at 7 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. CT at www.tshf.net and through the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame’s Twitter, YouTube and Facebook pages. Mike Keith, Hall of Fame inductee and Voice of the Vols, will host the event celebrating sports in the Volunteer State.
The Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame 2025 class features an impressive lineup of sports icons, including Tony Allen, Joe Behling, Bob Brown, Tamika Catchings, Phillip Clark, Stephen Gostkowski, Deon Grant, Chamique Holdsclaw, Jack Jenkins, Andy Kelly, Larry Kenon, Derrick Mason, Doug Mathews, George Pitts, Ronnie Robinson, Ron Slay, Priscilla Gary Sweeney, Elston Turner, Shea Weber, and Chris Woodruff.
Sports fans will be introduced to the Class of 2025 through candid interviews with those they mentored and inspired along the way. Special guests will share stories celebrating their legacy and impact on Tennessee sports.
This year’s special will also recognize outstanding achievement with the Hall’s annual awards, including:
- Tennessean of the Year: Captain Barry “Butch” Wilmore
- Pat Summitt Lifetime Achievement Award: Rick Barnes
- Female Amateur Team of the Year: Union Basketball
- Male Amateur Teams of the Year: Tennessee Baseball and Chattanooga Basketball
- Female Amateur Athlete of the Year: Olivia Reeves
- Male Amateur Athlete of the Year: Seth Henigan
