NASHVILLE, TN – Dec. 31, 2020 – The Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame, in partnership with Curb Records, will offer free admission to visitors Jan. 2 through March 31. The promotion is part of an effort to safely welcome visitors back to Nashville’s downtown area. Located just next to the Visitor Center inside Bridgestone Arena, the Hall is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“Like many members of the tourism community, we are committed to offering a safe experience in the Hall,” said Brad Willis, Executive Director of the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame. “We appreciate Curb Records for stepping up to offer free admission over the next month, so visitors can learn about our great class of 2020, and find out more about the heritage of sports in our state.”
New memorabilia featuring Jeff Fisher, Tim Corbin, Bettye Giles, Carl Torbush and others from the Class of 2020 is now on display, in addition to new video exhibits for Pat Summitt and Johnny Majors.
Under the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, state and local health departments to continue efforts in slowing the spread of COVID-19, the Hall operates at 50% capacity and requires masks upon entrance for staff and guests. Increased sanitization of high-touch surfaces is implemented and social distancing of 6 feet or greater is encouraged.
