Today, the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame opens bidding for a number of sports memorabilia and collectors’ items as part of a week-long silent auction beginning today through 8 p.m. CT Sunday, Aug. 30. The silent auction is the precursor to a star-studded television event celebrating this year’s induction class 7 p.m. CT Aug. 29 (check local listings for dates and times by market).
Bidding is now open on the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame website. All proceeds from the silent auction benefit the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame and its mission.
Sports fans can raise their virtual bidding paddles for the following items:
- Tennessee Titans team-issued football autographed by former Titans coach Jeff Fisher, 2020 Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame inductee
- Limited edition, acoustic guitar autographed by international music icon, Tennessee native and 2020 Tennessean of the Year Dolly Parton
- Vanderbilt University baseball autographed by two-time NCAA National Championship Vanderbilt University baseball coach Tim Corbin
- Titans #22 jersey signed by 2020 Pro Athlete of the Year Derrick Henry
- Titans game ball signed by Derrick Henry
- Personalized University of Tennessee helmet signed by University of Tennessee Athletics Director Phillip Fulmer

As previously announced, the “Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2020 Special Presented by the Tennessee Titans” will be broadcast as a 2-hour televised special event Saturday, Aug. 29 at 7 p.m. CT (check local listings for market-specific information). Mike Keith, host and voice of the Tennessee Titans, will host. The Class of 2020 includes legendary Tennessee sports icons Tim Corbin, Terry Crisp, Tony Delk, Jeff Fisher, Bettye Giles, Dick Horton, Heath Shuler, Bruton Smith, Sonny Smith, Carl Torbush and DeAngelo Williams.
Established in 1966, the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame honors figures from every sport including basketball, baseball, football, golf, soccer and track & field, along with coaches, teams, sports writers and others who made an impact. The Tennessee Department of Tourist Development oversees all operations along with the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame Board of Directors.
